The autocorrect origins of this one should be obvious to anyone with an iPhone. This one is available in my Etsy store.
This one is also in the Etsy store, as is the pattern, if you stitch yourself.
I’ve made up my own version of Pinocchio’s song and sing it more than I should probably admit to. So it seemed natural to make this pattern. This is 1 of the few I’ve kept for myself.
And speaking of F-bombs these are available on Etsy. The green sold, but the 2 on the right are still available.
And this last one was another gift for a friend, a quote from the delightfully profane Chuck Wendig.
This one ended up as a Valentine’s present for our neighbors.
A friend requested this, so I made the design and stitched it up. It was her birthday present to herself.
My friend Summer requested I do one of a Harry Potter-inspired expression she and her husband use. And I threw in a Tardis for her because she loves Dr. Who.
I tweeted that I thought this pattern was amusing, and immediately 2 friends asked if I’d make it for them. So I did.
I made this stitching of our family for my husband to put in his new office.
My mom liked it and requested one for her birthday. I added her to this one.
I’m a bit behind on posting my cross stitch and embroidery. So I’m adding quite a few here.
In an homage to nerd love, I made these 3. They’re all available on my Etsy site.
This was my first attempt at freehand embroidery instead of cross stitch. I made these 3 for my friend Liz Czukas. The middle one represents elements from her debut novel Ask Again Later. The list & bell are from her 2nd novel, Top Ten Clues You’re Clueless. And the bowl of sorbet is from her 3rd novel, When Joss Met Matt (written as Ellie Cahill). All 3 books are spectacular and you should read them.
Heathers is one of my favorite movies, and a defining feature in my friendship with a good friend I’ve known since 7th grade. This is 1 of several I’m making for her.
