Today, the profanely wonderful Chuck Wendig posted a blog about 25 Gifts for the Writer in Your Life. And he included a bonus (#26?) of profane cross stitch. Made by ME! So this seemed like an opportune time to toot my own horn a bit about my needlework endeavors.
I like to cross stitch. I learned when I was a kid, but the patterns were all boring. So with all the fun, sassy new ideas out there, and having figured out how to design my own patterns, I’ve picked it up again. I even have lately picked up straight embroidery, which offers more flexibility and is pretty cool.
Thus far, I’ve done mostly stuff for friends. But I have a few extras, so I decided to start an Etsy shop. So, um, you know. Go look. Buy something.
As you see, I also have the option to request a custom order. So I thought this would be a good place to display the various ones I’ve done so far, so you can see what I’m capable of. Some of these are from patterns I’ve bought, not all of which I have license to sell. So I might not be able to make all of them. But most are either ones that allow selling of the finished product or are designs I’ve made myself. And, of course, for the right price, I’m happy to make new designs.
To keep this from being a monster post with tons of pictures that takes a week to load, I’ll break this up into several posts, each featuring 1 or 2 of my stitchings. You can always click here to get them all in 1 place.
